Last summer we lined up some great acts to entertain you in London's Parks
Battersea Park Gigs

INFO for BANDS and PERFORMERS
These are fund-raiser gigs for music4children.org - unfortunately there is no fee for performances. But it's a really nice venue (when it's not raining).
If you are interested in performing then please email julius@class-a.co.uk with a link to your myspace/website, details of your line-up and your mobile number.
music4children will provide the PA, mics, stands etc. We do not have any backline equiptment - so if you have a drummer you'll need to think about bringing your drums. Bassists and Guitarists may also want to bring their amps, although our PA is capable of handling bass and guitar directly for clean sounds (don't expect a nice warm distortion out of it though!).
Solo/ Duo acts usually have a 20 minute set. Larger bands can perform for up to 40 minutes.
This is not a suitable venue for hardcore rap, deathcore, thrash, gabba, etc.
You can sell your CD's and plug your other gigs as much as you like!
We do not expect you to bring a crowd (like many London venues), but the more the merrier.
These bands played at Music4Children in 2007:
- Hoover Manoeuvres
- Medi
- Eric
- Hank Dog
- Karim Fanous
- Electric TrousersTulpas
- Joan Coffey
- 313's
- Karim Fanous
- Jason Baron & The JPG's

WEATHER:
If the weather looks dodgy the organisers will speak to the manager at La Gondola cafe and will decide (at around 2pm for an evening performance, and around 10am for a Sunday performance) whether to go ahead. We will then try and text all acts to let them know. If the weather is bad & you are unsure then please get in touch rather than assume either way.
